Hey, there! Thanks for stopping by:) Just want to say many thanks to those that have left me sweet comments or sent me DMs letting me know that you're digging what I'm doing over here! And I will definitely keep posting videos and more of them as long you keep watching (wink, wink).

The latest tutorial is now up! This quick vid will walk you through the process of how I create one of my most popular items in my shop, the Bow Necklace. For this project I used Makin's USA Clay Cutters Ribbon set, Sculpey Ultra Light Polymer Clay, and findings from Breathtaking Beads on Etsy.

How To Make Polymer Clay Firmer

Did you just go out and buy a whole mess of clay blocks, your mind wandering with wild abandon about what you're going to do with it? The you get home, bust em open and your creative possibilites are soured after realizing,"I can't do anything with this mess!" For whatever reason polymer clay has been increasingly overloaded with plasticizers, making it too sticky and soft to work with. Plasticizers are usually some kind of modified vegetable oil added to products to increase their thermal stability, so in this video I'll show you a quick way to leach the excess plasticizer out of the clay to make it firmer.
